Freedom Pass
A Freedom Pass for older people and those with disabilities provides free travel on most public transport in London (after 9.00am for the elderly aged over 60, but for people with a disability the concession has no time restriction). All badge holders are restricted to travelling after 9.30 am on main line trains.
From 1st April 2008, all Freedom Passes issued can be used on local bus services anywhere in England in accordance with statutory regulations.
Outside of London, these pass holders will be able to travel free between 9.30am and 11.00pm Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on public holidays.. Travellers need to show both Freedom Pass and Photocard to the bus driver.
The Pass will not be valid on trams, light railway, metro or train services outside of London.
